Stevens Pass Mountain Resort is one of Washington’s premier skiing destinations, with 1125 acres of shred-able terrain. When the snow is falling, Stevens is packed from novice skiers to expert snowboarders. Even when the sun is shining, there are plenty of things to do at Stevens Pass. Don’t miss the opportunity to take in the incredibly green mountain scenery before it’s buried beneath a blanket of snow. With autumn around the corner, there’s only a few more weeks to plan your summer mountain getaway!

Things to Do at Stevens Pass: The Summer Edition

When the snow melts, all of the Stevens Pass bike trails become accessible! Carved out of the mountain side in 2011, it has quickly become a hot spot for Washington mountain bikers. With almost a dozen bike trails across the terrain, ranging from from green to double-diamond levels of difficulty, you’re sure to break a sweat and a smile! If you don’t own a mountain bike, never fear! There are plenty of professional, top of the line mountain bikes available for rent.

The Pacific Crest Trail is one of the most famous hiking trails in the United States, connecting Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and our very own backyard in Washington. One of the most memorable things to do at Stevens Pass, the trail has become an iconic part of the West Coast. You can connect to the PCT from the base area, or if you prefer a more mellow approach, you have the option to ride the chairlift to the trail. There’s nothing more beautiful than the cascades in the summer time, and this trail is one that you’ll want to cross off your bucket list!

Disc Golf

After a quick ride up the chairlift, you’ll find The Stevens Pass Disc Golf Course, an incredible 18-hole course with a beautiful mountain backdrop.  Designed for all skill levels, this is the perfect place to make memories with friends or family and one of our favorite things to do at Stevens Pass.  Ride the chairlift up, and then work your way through the course to get back down to base!

Experience 90 minutes of yoga in one of the most zen places in the world. Partake in a Vinyasa-style practice every Saturday morning in August, and stretch your muscles in preparation for the day surrounded by blooming flowers and mountains overhead. No experience is necessary! After the class, you’ll be filled with the energy needed to conquer that mountain!

After a long day of exploring the mountainside, your stomach is sure to be grumbling. Stevens Pass has three dining areas open during the summer, offering breakfast, lunch, and early dinner. T-Bar Market offers espresso, pastries, power bars, and snacks for on-the-go energy, while Cascadian Kitchen has a wide selection of delicious burgers, fresh salads, and other classic favorites! The Bull’s Tooth Pub and Eatery is the perfect place to wind down with a cold beer and a juicy grilled steak after your mountain adventure. No matter what you’re craving, you’re sure to find something that hits the spot.

There are plenty of spectacular and adventurous things to do at Stevens Pass in the summer! Whether you and your friends are seeking some thrills, or you’re searching for a fun family vacation, Stevens Pass offers a little bit of everything. Before the snow sets in and the leaves start to change, be sure to book a weekend mountain getaway and experience all of the things to do at Stevens Pass!
